I love this powerful, pertinent portrayal of George Washington’s proclamation. I actually made me cry with gratitude for God giving us such a wonderful leader at such a crucial moment in our history. Great essay! I loved Paul Harvey. My dad was a long haul truck driver when I was growing up and I'd usually spend a couple weeks traveling with him every summer. We always looked forward to hearing "The Rest of the Story."
Yeah, you knew within a certain time frame no matter where you were, you'd be able to find Paul Harvey News and The Rest of the Story. It was always one of the most enjoyable 15-20 minutes of the day, even the commercials!
