I love your metaphor about "unwrapped truth." We don't live by bread alone--and we don't understand God's Word by treating or eating a slice by itself.
It's interesting that you wrote about this, Jason as we were talking about this same subject yesterday when our son came over for dinner. I pass many of your posts to him and he enjoys the practical application, and your sincere prayer to end your posts. Thank you for enlightening so many of us. Have a blessed day, and hope you're on the mend! 🙏
Thank you, Monica. I always love to hear when readers pass it along. There's no better recommendation! And thank you for the well wishes and prayers. It's slow going, but I'm still hoping it starts improving a little quicker.
What a neat bit of history, thank you for sharing. The way you related it back to delivery of truth was, honestly, unexpected and refreshing. It’s so true how truth delivered badly isn’t helpful at all, it takes the right techniques for it all to come together and be the seeds that we are supposed to be sowing. Great work!
As an actor, one of the training techniques we used to practice was taking a simple line or two and emphasizing a different word or using a different tone in the delivery. As you say, it changes the context of everything in HOW it is presented, written, or said. I could say, "I love your shirt," but depending on how I say that, it could be a true compliment, or it could be totally sarcastic. I love the example you use here about Jesus and the woman. It's a beautiful example of your point.
Great story, Jason!
I might even say it’s the best thing since sliced bread. 😀
Seriously, your daily stories bring a refreshing moment each morning where I can marvel at God’s blessings bestowed on those willing to reach out.
Have a great and blessed day!
Thank you, Andrew! I appreciate you.
You are most welcome, Jason!

Thank you, Eric! I appreciate you taking the time to read and comment. I always enjoy feedback, good or bad.

That's a great example. I remember that exercise.
There ya go, brothers in arms!
