Excellent truth. Love learning history at the same time. And now I understand the term gerrymandering. Thank you.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Jason, your devotion today stayed on the theme of verses that God was bringing to mind, and it called up Hebrews 11:1. Thank you!!

This is an excellent article and so on point even in your practical application, and so in line with my thoughts as well. You not only inform us, but give guidance along the way. I enjoy reading the words of someone who makes you pause and think!

Such a poignant article! Applicable to our current politic environment in many ways. But the shared scriptures are applicable to my own personal life. What a wonderful reminder that my ways are shortsighted and God’s are sovereign. He knows. He loves. He works. Loved this article!!

Unfortunately, gerrymandering usually does work to manipulate voting districts to skew the will of the people. It still happens 200 years later.

You're right. And it's ridiculous. It should be unacceptable no matter what side of the aisle you're on. It would be so simple to fix. Nothing should matter except population and common sense.

I have been meditating on Proverbs 3:4-7. Yes, it's true that we need to solely depend on God alone.

Very nice and detailed. I love reading the history and connecting it with the word of God. How the word of God has always been revenant in every situation.

Also, I wanted to understand, although I haven't read all your articles. So please pardon me if I have miscommunicated it.

Are there any stories from history where the personality has obeyed and walled in the word of God and how good the outcome. In short, I wanted to read a story which has a positive reflection. If you have not written it so far then I pray that you recieve one and then you are able to portray that as well in similar detailed manner then it would look great. Cheers. 😀
