Thank you. This pertains directly to a conversation in which I am currently engaged. Truths of God's Word that I've heard and have remained the same for more than sixty years, even as I have read through the Bible countless times throughout those years clarifying my understanding of those truths. When initial posts were made there was enough Scripture to sound even plausible, but now the twist of definition is becoming clearer as is the platform of line of thought behind it.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to giide me in presenting God's Word accurately, and the Holy Spirit's work in the lives of others that they may also begin to recognize the difference.

Re: the changing meaning of words - all manmade - human effort - not of God. At the root of it is being misled by humans who are unknowingly doing the work of the enemy to separate people from God and obscure the knowledge that He is the Creator of all.

Anyone who is not fully reading at least one of the Gospel books of the Bible - Matthew, Luke and John are my personal favorites (even better all 3 to get the fullest story) - is missing the KNOWING that Jesus is the Son of God (not just another human prophet or nice guy), what He taught and that He was fully healed and Resurrected by God, walked on earth for 40 days and ascended into the Kingdom of God. Undeniable historically documented events. Without knowledge of the TRUTH, people are susceptible to the deceptions brought by people in our manmade "society" and don't even realize it.

I have had the privilege and joy of performing the famous "Who's on First?" routine many times in my life, playing both roles at a given time. It always delighted the audience, no matter where it was performed, and I have sweet memories of my best friend, Roger, with whom I did this in college in front of a packed house in 1977. Sadly (for me), the Lord called him home 3 years ago, but knowing I'll see him again one day, I hope he will keep this script handy so we can do it again.
